Laughing ~ Yes -Sir, Mr. Mud, You. Are. Correct. ~ ... just 'polished-off' a bowl of old-fashion oatmeal, grant-it, it wasn't the steel-cut-oats, but, it'll do . . . i had seen a recipe where it's titled mock pecan pie, where oatmeal is in place of the nutmeats Shocked *seriously* Surprised

Yummy! What a great meal on a frigid day. Dad would have liked some raw onion wedges with that.

For the briefest of seconds I thought I was a staring at biscuits with tomato gravy. Agreed however that you can't hardly beat it as it sits in that picture.

~ Mr. Mud, in mule-town, the Big John's eatery, gave me the idea to put BBQ pulled pork atop that there salad...have you ever had that place's salads? Big K gets the fried shrimp atop his and My! brother over-on-the-hill gets grilled-chicken on top of his salad plate, hold the cucumbers, put dill pickles instead ... have them put real bacon on your salad instead of those imitation bacon bits Razz

I used to get a taco salad there now and then and a small side salad comes with their hb steak plate which I get sometimes. You ever tried their Who Dat Burger Plate? That's the bomb!
