Remote Controller could contribute here greatly as well. He's a cooking machine on game days. _________________ I'm a happy Deplorable that likes my Crumbs!

The Comish appears to have left the building Lori so I'll answer your question for him. Yes all of the above works as football food IMO. _________________ I'm a happy Deplorable that likes my Crumbs!

Well, Okay, Mr. Mud, because I have been wondering if there's a difference in tent-camping & football tail-gate-ing --- oh, I reckon that's on an assumption that one is at a football game..... _________________ We don't have much, what we have, we share. |

What ever the inspiration for those food ideas you've posted thus far they would all fit perfect at any tail gate party I was a part of.
I'll even add boiled peanuts. Buy a can, open it and heat the contents. I have them every Sunday that I'm home on game day. _________________ I'm a happy Deplorable that likes my Crumbs!

Some great ideas for holiday parties...tailgating...or Sunday football on the sofa!
This has got to be...
The Perfect Slider...
Ingredients:
1 pound hot sausage
1 pound hamburger
1 pound Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
2 packages dinner rolls, slice entire package horizontally
Directions:
Brown together the sausage and hamburger until no longer pink. Drain the grease. Add the cubed Velveeta and stir until melted. Divide mixture evenly and spread onto rolls. Serve immediately...
***Option....Follow directions for cooking....once everything has mixed together, throw it all in a crock pot on low and let everyone serve themselves as the commercials allow...
***Option...You can also prepare these in advance and put them right back into the bun package for transporting to your holiday party. To re-heat, just put in the microwave for a few seconds...or transport the crock pot! ♥

I'm buying an extra cooler for summer!!!!
The Best Way to Cook Corn on the Cob for a Crowd? It's Cooler Corn
Wipe your cooler clean, fill with shucked ears of corn. Next, two kettles-full of boiling water are poured over the corn and the top closed.
Then nothing.
30 minutes later, the corn was perfectly cooked. And I'm told that the corn will remain at the perfect level of doneness for a couple of hours. This is a FANTASTIC IDEA for picnics and family gatherings!!!!
