- The Old Farmers Almanac
The August edition of The Old Farmer’s Almanac Monthly magazine is now available! This month, the Almanac tests the memories of squirrels, gives us several names for the Moon, goes fishing with Compleat Angler author Izaak Walton, makes a buffet of salads, picnics with ants, and learns about the association between the Tudor rulers and the length of a furlong.

I am re-reading and greatly enjoying an old book by Maxwell Maltz called Psycho-cybernetics. It is a self help book that some might enjoy.

Looks like it is highly rated in reviews. Is it an easy read??? (i.e. no big scientific words ) Wink

Book fountain outside Cincinnati Library. This made me smile
You may have already seen this but I thought it was great. It's outside the Cincinnati Public Library.

Calling all book lovers! This week, Amazon launched its Kindle Unlimited service, which runs $9.99 a month and allows you to read as much as you want (from a list of selected books). So we thought it would be a good time for you to help us build a summer reading list. What books can you recommend and what's your short review? http://www.theverge.com/2014/7/18/5915039/amazons-all-you-can-read-kindle-unlimited-is-now-official-at-9-99-per
